Engineering

Every detail engineered before it ships.

SAPP engineers each display for structure, materials, assembly, and transport, so what leaves the factory performs in store exactly as it did in review.

What We Do

We turn approved design
intent into drawings a factory can build from.

How We Do It

We engineer against real production constraints.

Engineering begins while the design is still open to change. Material availability, machine capability, freight dimensions, and assembly time are checked early, when adjusting them is still inexpensive and invisible to the finished result.

Design review
Design intent is assessed for structural, material,
and production feasibility.
1
Structural engineering
Load, stability, joints, and failure points are resolved and tested.
2
Material and finish
specification
Substrates, coatings, and hardware are locked to available supply.
3
Production documentation
Drawings, tolerances, and assembly instructions are issued to the factory.
4
Why It Matters

A display that cannot be built the same way twice is not a finished design.

Worker wearing a white hard hat and yellow safety vest holding a walkie-talkie and clipboard while standing in front of stacked shipping containers at a port or storage yard.
Displays carry weight, get knocked, get moved, and get rebuilt by people who were not in the design meeting. A structure that works as a single sample can loosen, warp, or fail once it is produced in volume and shipped across climates.
A butternut pumpkin on a grocery store scale with a screen displaying its weight as 0.935 kg and a barcode for scanning using the store's Scan&Go app, which is also shown on a smartphone held by a person.
SAPP engineers for the full life of the display, not just the photograph. Load paths, material tolerances, flat-pack efficiency, and assembly sequence are resolved before tooling is committed.

The result is a display that arrives intact, assembles the same way in every store, and holds its shape for the length of the campaign.

Relevant Case Studies

SAPP develops display concepts against shopper behaviour, store formats, and real production limits, so a design is commercially viable before
it is signed off.
